Date Inspiration

  • I created this page as a quiet reference for those who enjoy shared experiences and thoughtful, exciting dates. It’s not a checklist and never a requirement, just a glimpse into what I like. Time together feels best when it’s generous and with a mutual feeling of being cared for.

  • Shopping & Gifts

Thoughtfulness makes me feel seen more than formality does, whether it’s a gift that says more than words, a tip gesture that makes me feel truly special, or a surprise gift card before or after we meet.

My personal wish list is available for discreet online gifting, and gift cards from places I already love, such as John Lewis, Aman, AIRE and Nail’d It Belgravia, make me feel like you really know me.

If you would like to make a date more memorable in person, I also enjoy Agent Provocateur, Bordelle, Coco De Mer, Honey Birdette and Victoria’s Secret lingerie (34C top/ size small bottoms), J’Adore by Dior eau de parfum, Cire Trudon candles, pink roses, and very dark organic chocolate.

Shopping together can be just as enjoyable, or even a fantasy experience all its own. I like choosing things discerningly, and I’m equally happy offering styling suggestions for men if that’s something you’d enjoy while we explore Harrods or Selfridges together.

  • London Restaurants and Bars

Often the best meals are an easy stroll from where you’re staying (if I remembered to bring flats). For special occasions, I’m drawn to bars and restaurants that value craft, atmosphere and great service.

Many of my favourites offer private or semi-private dining, which adds a layer of discretion and ease. As you might expect, some excellent options are conveniently located within London’s five-star hotels.

Some favourite London restaurants that never fail to deliver include Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester (the Table Lumière is actually worth it, especially if there’s three of us…), Clos Maggiore, Cloth, Hide, Mount St. Restaurant, Noble Rot Mayfair and The Ritz Dining Room for the best of British-European cuisine; Endo, Nobu or Rokka for Japanese and Bentley’s, Pétrus or Scott’s for seafood. Veeraswarmy is colourful and fun if you like Indian food. The Peninsula, Four Seasons, Hotel Café Royal, Claridge’s and Conrad St James hotels all conveniently contain delicious, softly lit restaurants.

For a quick cocktail and a snack, I recommend steamed dim sum at Park Chinois, caviar sushi rolls at Umu, tapas at Montain, or a simple lunch eaten with our fingers in The Lanesborough Library Bar & Withdrawing Room.

On my personal bucket list of places I’m simply dripping with anticipation to try for the first time are A. Wong (will we survive a 30-course Chinese tasting menu together?), Brat (traditional British), the iconic Clove Club, Da Terra, Evelyn’s Table, Frog by Adam Handling (his Ugly Butterfly restaurant in Cornwall is exceptional so I have high hopes for Frog!), Gymkhana (Indian), Daphne’s (Italian), Humble Chicken (Japanese), The Ledbury (grows its own mushrooms…), SO|LA (bright, airy, Californian), among others.

  • Duos & Moresomes

If you’re reading this then we probably already agree that good company enhances any experience.

Should you wish to arrange a duo or a larger group dynamic, I can recommend friends and lovers with whom I share genuine chemistry and trust: Amelia Swann, Arabella Blair, Darla Blake, Elle Voss, Emilia Lang, Florence Wilde, Grace Gardiner, Lady Lola, Luke Hardy, Madame Caramel, Margot Alderton, Miss Harriet, Mistress Stone, Nikki Darling, Oz Bigdownunder, Sadie Scott, Scarlett May, Sienna Carlisle‍ and ‍Subby Katie.

Introductions are always mutual and considered, and any multi-person date is approached with the same fairness, discretion and respect as a one-on-one meeting.

I would also love to have the pleasure of meeting Audrey Astor, Cassandra Gray and Sofia Miles, separately or all at once. You could say they are my bucket list ladies!
